I hold a BsC in Biochemistry (2018-2022) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. During that time, I conducted an internship at the Puig Laboratory, which helped me develop both scientific and data analysis skills. In 2023, I pursued a Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology at the University of Barcelona while working on my master thesis at the Sarrià Chemical Institute in the Bioengineering Department, under Antoni Planas' group within the project: "Cell wall peptidoglycan modifications as a strategy used by pathogenic bacteria to evade immune responses. Mechanisms and opportunities for novel therapeutic targets against infectious diseases". I am currently a PhD student on the project entitled: "Neuroinhibition of brain hyperactivity involved in pain and focal seizures in vivo with PhotoTheraPorts" as part of the European project "Phototheraport: Luminescent implants as ports for light-based therapies" from the HORIZON-EIC-2022-PATHFINDEROPEN-01 call. I am excited about this tremendous opportunity and have no doubt that this period will contribute to my growth as a professional.
